That's because there is no story, except in the minds of the Times' editorial board and right wing bloggers who read the Times like the bible. It was a competitive bid contract that was won under government bidding rules.
If the Times uncovers any violations of the bidding process rules that favored CBRE, then there's a story, and every media outlet will carry it. Otherwise, the story is that one of the nation's largest real estate firms won a contract to sell foreclosed properties nationally.
