Modified Loans Do Little to Help Homeowners

Why does this surprise anyone?

The continuing defaults are a reflection of the fact that most of thses borrowers never intended to pay anything. It's far easier to stay in a house as a buyer/mortgagor than an apartment if you never intend to pay either the mortgage or the rent. The majority of these always were "predatory borrowers" from the day they signed those papers.

We have been hoodwinked by the Left about "redlining" and homes for "the poor" and we're being hoodwinked again.

Wake up fellow citizens! You just elected to office the people responsible for the farce.
